Ricky Martin Announces What We Already Knew...

After years of speculation, Ricky Martin finally announced on his website today that he is gay. Linked via his Twitter, Ricky's post is in both English and Spanish.
Good for him for finally feeling confident enough to come out to the world. Dale Boricua!

Vids from WMC
Here are a few clips from my adventures during WMC this past week.
The first is the Lil Jon set during the Welcome to Miami Party at Nikki Beach from Wednesday, March 24, 2010. There was all kinds of half-nude, substance-infused gyration going on around me, but he managed to bring the hyped crowd to a new level of "hypedness." I made that word up.
Next is Estelle at the Delano for the Sunset Soiree on Saturday, March 27, 2010. I literally got there five minutes before she went on, but it seems like those who were already there had been waiting for quite awhile. We heard all sorts of grumbles, especially after she came out and only did three songs. We tried to get into the Florida Room after, but the bald-headed main bouncer played super dumb when we came back around to go in (even though he had JUST let us into the pool area less than an hour prior.) Needless to say, an editor from Florida International Magazine, who had an email confirmation but was not on the list, managed to get by just fine...with like six people. SMH

And for my Latinos, NG2, the duo behind Ella menea at the Hispanic Festival in Pembroke Pines on Sunday, March 28, 2010. This video was off my phone so it isn't that great.
