Sauza Tequila Cocktails Inspired by the Royal Wedding

With the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton less than a week away, Sauza Tequila took it upon themselves to create some signature cocktails for the over-the-top affair. Nevermind that tequila is a staple of Mexico or that the broadcast and coverage will begin at 4 AM EST; I'm still sure plenty of ladies will get lost in the Margarita fairy tale with their morning scrambled eggs. Check out the recipes for The Royal Rose-Marry and Something Blue below!

The Royal Rose-Marry Lemon Margarita
Ingredients:
4 oz. Sauza® Silver Tequila
8 lemons (juice only)
3 cups club soda
4 tbs sugar
4 rosemary sprigs
Method of Preparation:
Combine lemons, club soda, sugar, and tequila in pitcher. Mix well. Refrigerate until  cold. Place 1 rosemary sprig in each of the 4 serving cups. Pour margarita and drink cold or iced.
Serves 4.

Something Blue
Ingredients:
1.5 parts of Sauza Blue® Silver Tequila
2 parts cranberry/ raspberry juice
8 mint leaves for garnish
1 part lemon-lime soda
Method of Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except mint leaves in a pitcher. Serve each glass with 2 mint leaves. Serve cold or iced.

Plum Miami's April Issue and Magazine Launch Party at the Raleigh

The Raleigh was the place the be April 15th as Plum TV took over the iconic pool area to celebrate the launch of Plum Miami Magazine. Plum's decor spared no expense;  CEO Jerry Powers cued fireworks that took over the night sky while DJ Irie spun in front of a massive video screen. Aerial dancers, painted ladies and complimentary Grey Goose added to the night's allure. Plum even built a dance floor that extended over the pool and  sat directly underneath DJ Irie's booth. Special guests included Boris Kodjoe, Tim & Yolanda Hardaway, Kenny Burns, and more.

To check out a video from the night, click here. WireImage also created a gallery for the evening soiree.  My photo of 50 Cent, Jerry Powers, Alonzo Mourning and G-Note artist Hot Rod is featured in the April issue. Check out my clip and some exclusive photos from the night below.
