PHOTOS: The Black Eyed Peas Finale Concert at Sun Life Stadium

I was lucky enough to get invited to the Black Eyed Peas' Finale Concert at Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. We walked in during Jason Derulo's set and settled in just in time for Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You." (Which by the way, takes on a whole new energy post-breakup.) I wasn't able to get the best photos, so I borrowed these from WireImage. No full concert review, just a couple of notes.

Concert Notes
1. There were a lot more kids at the show than I expected. And considering none of the lyrics were edited, it made for some awkward but funny moments.
2. Fergie can belt it out. She sounded amazing and had no back up track. (Her legs also looked fantastic.)
3. Props to the Peas for performing pre-Fergie songs like "That's the Joint."
4. It really was a fun concert to be at. At one point they cut the lights off and had everyone light up their cell phone or a lighter. They also brought out the crew during their final song (appropriately "I Gotta Feeling") for a group photo - it was a nice touch. It was a great night - just the right energy boost to ring in Thanksgiving.

Yogart Unites Yoga and Art for Art Basel at Loew's Miami Beach Hotel, November 30 - December 4, 2011

The yogi in me rejoiced with this inaugural event (flashback to Exercise TV's Yoga Bootcamp review).  Each night during Art Basel 2011, YogaArt will host sunrise and sunset Jivamukti yoga sessions at Loew's Hotel Miami Beach. Each session will be guided by an acclaimed yoga instructor and accompanied by live music. The event nabbed Trevor Hall as this year's musical headliner, who will perform additional intimate concert sessions on Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1.

Loew's will also host artistic works by Westen Charles, Gean Moreno and Gavin Perry. Sessions (schedule here) are either $40 or $50 depending on time and featured artist. The price is kind of steep for some namaste if you ask me, but I dig the concept.
